O canto dos esquecidos reverbera pelo edifício da vitória (2016), parte do áudio em em loop do discurso de posse, de João Goulart, 24° presidente do Brasil, de 1961 a 1964, e que em 1º de abril de 1964 sofreu um golpe militar que culminou em uma ditadura militar que durou 21 anos. A áudio de João Goulart atravessa uma série de cabos que sobem pela parede em desenho geométrico. Ao encerrar seu caminho pelos cabos, atravessando uma série de pedais de guitarra, o discurso é projetado para o ambiente, via amplificador, completamente deformado. Um fone de ouvido permite ouvir individualmente o discurso antes da deformação.
