Em Safeword, Peters aparece imobilizado na posição de “pau de arara”, método de tortura historicamente utilizado no Brasil, principalmente durante o período do Regime Militar. Simultaneamente, num monitor de TV, uma voz masculina dita um texto de cunho humilhante, reacionário e imperativo que ordena que o artista repita suas palavras. Uma máscara com um microfone, que ao mesmo tempo o sufoca, está presa ao seu rosto e ligada a pedais que distorcem sua voz. O processo continua até o artista conseguir se libertar.
